Leather Rama Terms of Service

Welcome to Leather Rama Marketplace (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

Leather Rama or Leather Rama Marketplace is an online marketplace based in New Zealand that allows individuals to buy and sell new or pre-owned leather and faux leather apparel and accessories.

By accessing or using Leather Rama (“the platform”), you (“you”, “user”, “buyer”, or “seller”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the platform.

The marketplace is powered by Tradly, which provides the website builder, hosting, and technical infrastructure.

Tradly is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.

Nature of the Service

Leather Rama Marketplace provides an online platform where users may list, buy, or sell leather and faux leather items.

We do not own, create, sell, resell, or guarantee any listed items.

All transactions are made directly between buyers and sellers.

Leather Rama Marketplace acts only as a neutral venue and is not responsible for the quality, authenticity, delivery, or condition of items.

Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to create an account, list products, or make purchases.

By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that all information provided is true and complete.

We may verify identity or request additional information where necessary to maintain a safe marketplace.

We may suspend or terminate any account suspected of being used by minors or providing false information.

Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account.

If you suspect unauthorized use, you must notify us immediately.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent activity.

Listings and Content

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including descriptions, prices, photos, and authenticity.

You may only list items that you legally own and have the right to sell.

If your item is faux leather or synthetic, this must be clearly indicated in the description.

If unsure whether an item is genuine or synthetic, it must be described as faux or synthetic.

Leather Rama Marketplace does not physically inspect items and cannot verify material type.

Listings that misrepresent materials may be removed, and accounts may be suspended.

We may remove or edit listings at our discretion if they violate these Terms, laws, or community guidelines.

Payments

Payments on Leather Rama Marketplace are securely processed through our integrated payment system.

Buyers complete payments through the platform.

After a successful transaction, Leather Rama processes payouts to sellers’ nominated bank accounts.

Leather Rama does not store or process full card details.

Service or transaction fees may apply as described below.

Fees and Payouts

Leather Rama Marketplace fee: 7% commission on the total sale price of each completed order.

Payment processing fee: approximately 2.9% + USD $0.30 per transaction (may vary by region).

All fees are automatically deducted at the time of sale.

Sellers receive the remaining balance via payout to their nominated bank account.

Example:

If an item sells for $100 USD:

→ Leather Rama fee: $7.00

→ Processing fee (approx.): $3.20

Payout to seller: $89.80 USD

Payout timing depends on processing schedules and verification requirements.

Transactions Between Users

Buyers and sellers are responsible for completing transactions, including payment, shipment, and delivery.

If an issue arises between a buyer and seller (for example: item not received, damaged, or misdescribed):

Leather Rama Marketplace may help facilitate communication or basic dispute support, but Leather Rama Marketplace is not legally obligated to provide refunds or compensation, and financial disputes may need to be resolved through the buyer’s payment provider or bank.
